Become a Supporter

Individuals, businesses and corporations are invited to support the 501c3 Balloon Museum with your contributions, donations and endowments. This is especially true in the early development stages of the museum.

The museum was founded by Don Cline and Bill Meadows both balloonist for nearly 50 years. Their goal is to provide a museum where balloonist can preserve their history, a venue to host special events, and an educational facility where the public can learn about the sport of ballooning.

There are two other balloon museums in the nation, one in Indianola, Iowa and the other in Albuquerque, New Mexico, but this will be the first balloon museum in Eastern USA.

The land for the museum has been purchased in two parcels with the first parcel purchased 3 years ago and the last parcel purchased just a few months ago. Plans have been finalized and hopefully construction will start in early 2019. On this schedule the museum would open mid 2020.

In addition to contributions, donations and endowments we do have naming opportunities for the Theater, Observation Deck and the seven story high balloon in the center of the museum.

If you would consider supporting The Balloon Museum in these or other possible ways we invite you to contact Co-Founder Don Cline at dcline@pari.edu.

You may also sign up to become a Balloon Museum Member. This will add you to our mailing and e-mail list which will keep you informed as to our progress and upcoming events.

Thank you for your consideration
